Assessing Accession - Central & Eastern Europe in the EU is working in conjunction with the CRCEES Working Papers Series to support researchers through the publication of 'work-in-progress' research papers.

This joint working papers series is open to all researchers at all stages of their career and who have an interest in Central & Eastern Europe and the EU.  Postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers are especially encouraged to submit their work-in-progress.

Submitted papers should relate to the Assessing Accession research themes and report substantive research findings.  In this way, the series aims to raise the profile and disseminate the research of individuals linked with the network, while at the same time allowing them to obtain critical feedback on their findings.  Further information about the research themes supported by Assessing Accession please click HERE.

All papers will be scrutinised by 2 anonymous referees in order to determine suitability for publication.  Papers should be between 6000-8000 words in length (not including references).  Authors should also be aware that they retain copyright to their work and Assessing Accession and CRCEES actively encourages them to work towards eventually publishing their working paper in a reputable academic journal.

Published working papers will be available to download in PDF format from this webpage and from the CRCEES Website If you are interested in submitting an Assessing Accession working paper then please send an email for further details to Laura CashmanAlternatively, if you wish to make a general enquiry about the CRCEES Working Papers Series please contact Professor Geoffrey SwainPlease be sure to acknowledge Assessing Accession in your email correspondence.
